Horror Hoedown: Panic Button VS Red Eye!

WARNING! SPOILERS!

Last month, I saw a horror movie called "Panic Button." It was a movie about a plane controlled by terrifying AI, and making the people on the plane do Saw like things. Yesterday, I saw a movie named "Red Eye." It was a woman is sitting next to a hitman... who was going to kill her father. But they were on... A PLANE!

So I just listed two movies about people on planes, with the theme being murder. But the question is, which movie is the better to watch in the dark? To watch alone? To watch at night? This is horror hoedown!

HORROR HOEDOWN!!!
PANIC BUTTON VS RED EYE!!!

Welcome to horror hoedown! Where the scariest movies ever duke it out for the ultimate prize, the tears of the damned! This time we look at Panic Button and Red Eye! Now first, let me be clear: this is my opinion and my opinion only. If you like one movie more then the other, then good for you! Put it in the comments button below so I can see. Now, onto the review.

When you look at them loosely, Red Eye and Panic Button have a lot in common. They are both on the plane, they are both about sick killers, and they are both really, really creepy. But watch them back-to-back, they are very different. Panic Button is more on shock value, with a secret message about what you put on the internet (The first half of the movie says that this is based on what the internet has told them. Have I mentioned that this is a independent film?). It has kills from the Saw movies, which if you have seen, then WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU? I say this because the Saw movies are very messed up, and this movie is no exception. AI (or a man in his 50s) makes a plane were the people who bored it are asked if they want to play a game of trivia with the AI. But what makes it terrifying is that if they choose to not play, people die. In very, horrible ways. And this is were you say "OK, just answer the question then!" But the questions become... well... personal. Like asking how many times they have done it, and if they could please kill one another. Yes, they have to kill each other. What follows is messed up, but all in the way of how the characters react. They are asked questions that they have to answer, but they make you say "No, she would never do that!" But they do, and it is quite the shocker.

Red Eye, on the other hand, is quite different. An assassin is in a airport with a woman and lets just say her dad is the target for the next murder. Unless she changes her room so she doesn't blow up her apartment during a heist. But her friend works at the hotel. See what I am getting at? She ends up with a cat and mouse chase with this man, and horror and hilarity ensue (Minus the hilarity). While Panic Button has shock and horror to keep people glued to there screens, its the acting and gripping story that I really liked in Red Eye. It has the right blend of terror and fun. It weirdly, in a way, is probably one of the best thriller movies I have ever seen. But that is the problem. Its a thriller. And trust me when I say this, that means that I have to put Panic Button as the better horror movie. By far, the better movie is Red Eye, but the horror elements are not there, making Panic Button the winner.

CONGRATS PANIC BUTTON, YOU WON BY A FEATHER... OF A WING... OF A PLANE! HAHAHAHAHHA! (that was a bad joke sorry)

Next time on PipePanic reviews, we will review the WORST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN. Ta-Ta!
